I’m Bluu Suede, a musician and producer from New Orleans, LA, a city that shaped my love for rhythm, storytelling, and soul. My journey began young, spending a summer with my musician father at 14, where I honed my voice and discovered the emotional power of music. Over the years, I’ve grown from singing in R&B groups to mastering production and recording, creating music that reflects my experiences and passions. My solo albums, The Bluu Suede Project (2007) and The ReSoulUtion (2010), tell my story of growth, creativity, and perseverance. Today, I balance touring with Jill Scott, building my production house, The Cleaners, and constantly practicing and perfecting my craft—because I believe, "perfect practice makes perfect."
